History

No readings yet.

Flags compare against a typical reef range. They are a prompt to look closer, not advice, and nothing is blocked. Salinity is entered as specific gravity (1.025 is about 34-36 ppt).

Figures are a consensus summary of common reef guides, not advice for a specific tank.

Sources disagree most on nitrate and phosphate (for example SPS corals are often kept at 1-5 ppm nitrate, soft corals at 5-15).

Stability matters more than hitting exact numbers.

How this is calculated

Each reading is compared with a consensus summary of typical reef ranges (for example salinity SG 1.024-1.026, alkalinity 7-11 dKH, calcium 400-450 ppm) and flagged low or high outside it. These are not advice for a specific tank.

Stability matters more than hitting exact numbers, and alkalinity should change by about 1 dKH a day at most. Sources disagree most on nitrate and phosphate.

The trend line joins your readings for one parameter in date order. Everything is stored in your browser on this device.
